Spring is here to stay!

I have been recording a lot over the past months and I have been enjoying the time I get to spend with my machines trying new things. However, most of these recordings seemed unsatisfying to me and I fell in a bit of a slump.

I have always been sitting on a lot of material. It has been a constant stuggle to let things go their own way. Lately, these recordings have been increasingly accumulating and I believe it is time to let some of them out of hibernation as warm weather is slowly creeping in.

I recorded these tracks in January when I was lucky enough to be away from the big city for about a month. It was a generally hopeful and stress-free period of time and I believe it drastically influenced the recording process. I aimlessly wandered a lot through nature, listening to the birds, the creaking trees and older new age music.

I have been going through a lot of self-doubt with this one. I want to thank gabri.miel and The Lifted Index for their kind words and comments on the early version of this record. It gave me the much needed push to complete it and let it wander the world as I did back then.

Huge second shoutout to gabri.miel for taking some time off school to get back on the drawing board for me. Much appreciated! I'd also like to thank my brother for his help on the production side of the EP!
